Bride to Be

646

I've grown this dahlia variety since the summer of 2012 when Chris and I married.  Instead of ordering flowers for our wedding, we decided to plant our own tubers and bring a touch of 'homegrown' to our wedding.

Our wedding theme was vintage and rustic, and it just seemed so fitting that "Bride To Be", this classic bloom, was the centerpiece of my wedding bouquet.

I've grown Bride to Be every summer since and much like Lauren Michele, they produce long stems and the more you cut it the more they bloom!  These vibrant 4 inch blooms can only be described by one word; beautiful.
